Adults and children over the age of 2 years arriving for the purpose of Umrah or Hajj pilgrimage are required to produce a certificate of vaccination with quadrivalent (ACWY135) polysaccharide vaccine against meningitis. It is now a visa requirement for both Hajj and Umrah to have a valid proof of vaccination.
